Skin Resurfacers and Peels

Both Skin resurfacers and advanced skin peels can be tailored to individual skin types and concerns. Resurfacers work more superficially in the skin whilst advanced skin peels penetrate much more deeply. Both resurfacers and peels work in a way to cause controlled injury in the skin, triggering its own natural wound healing response. This results in instant rejuvenation and visible improvements to skin health, effectively treating a range of skin concerns from ageing, scarring, pigmentation, uneven skin tone and more.

All the peels I use are made up of natural ingredients. These include lactic acid (derived from soured milk), phytic acids (derived from nuts, seeds and legumes), tranexamic acid, mandelic acid (derived from almonds), pumpkin pulp (a great natural alternative to vitamin A), salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid derived from willow bark), glycolic acid (derived from sugar cane) in various percentages, L ascorbic acid (Vitimin C) azelaic acid (derived from grains wheat and rye) mango pulp. All blended and used with a powerful blend of plant stem cells and antioxidants.

Resurfacers

Resurfacers, otherwise known as superficial peels, are a non-invasive treatment and a good option for people who wish to have less ‘down time’ as most people experience just even redness for 24 hours or at most some mild flaking. They’re a brilliant option for people who wish to start taking anti-aging treatments more seriously and address all skin concerns. By dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, superficial peels encourage natural cell turnover, revealing fresher, smoother, and healthier skin. This treatment is ideal for addressing a range of common skin concerns, including: acne and breakouts, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, mild acne scarring, signs of ageing and sun damage. Advanced Skin Peels

Advanced skin peels work by causing controlled trauma within the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin. Also known as medium depth peels, these penetrate to the dermal layers of the skin, most typically the upper dermis (the papillary dermis). They require acids with a specific mechanism of action and PH formulation to achieve these peel depths, making them ideal for addressing more pronounced skin concerns such as lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and scarring. Although you can expect more downtime with these types of treatments, they can offer quicker, more significant improvements to most skin concerns.

  • This reparative peel combines 15% L-ascorbic acid with pineapple and papaya enzymes, plant stem cells, lactic, and phytic acid to address mild to moderate photo damage and environmental stress. Perfect for anyone wishing to slow down the aging process and target photodamaged and uneven skin.

  • A unique pairing of hibiscus flower, mandelic and azelic acid for an instant lift whilst working synergistically to deeply exfoliate and liberate undesired hyperpigmentation from the skin.   • This powerful modified Jessner Peel expertly blends salicylic and lactic acid with resorcinol and lilac plant stem cells to help reduce stubborn and persistent blemishes, improve the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and help reduce to appearance of skin discolouration, large pore size and rough skin texture.
